I would focus on the fact that if you only have squirrels in your attic that you do not have bats in your belfry...

My husband and I have enjoyed the squirrels we have been acquainted with for far longer than we should have....nearly needed daily booze to get through our experience...

The most important thing is never to have too much fun with them and it sounds like you are reaching that point...(ROFLMBO) ...I can tell because you are writing the same things I was posting in my journal when it was our turn to entertain the squirrels....

It is one of life's curses that each of us must do our time dealing with tree rats and other critters...I believe that you have done your time and you are now eligible for the lifting of the curse!!!  The loss of chocolate would do me in as well....

I have never seen a cat turn down the chance to get some fresh meat...they are uniquely skilled to crawl into those small areas that tree rats like to hide and don't mind the hunting conditions...as long as they get the little "critter" in the end... I find they play a little rough at times and the cat might be considered a bully by the idiot neighbor that feeds and calls tree rats to her yard....sadly they like to bite those little necks and they just snap...what can ya do...???....maybe you can train the cat to leave them on her doorstep or at the feeding station...Since she loves them she can have them....
